7 Reasons Not to Worry Bible Verse Printable

I’m Trusting in a God Who . . .

Do you struggle with worry? I sometimes do. After experiencing a miscarriage, I made a list of seven reasons not to worry, each with a supporting Bible verse.

While I’m not trusting in God to fix all my problems or cause everything to go my way . . .

1. I’m trusting in a God who hears my prayers

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.” Psalm 34:15

2. I’m trusting in a God who can do ANYTHING

“Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible.
But with God everything is possible.’” Matthew 19:26

3. I’m trusting in a God who loves me always

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

“For His unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.” Psalm 103:11

4. I’m trusting in a God who has everything pass through His hands first

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

5. I’m trusting in a God who is working for my good

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

6. I’m trusting in a God who will right all wrongs someday

“For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” Acts 17:31

7. I’m trusting in a God who will trade every sorrow for joy in eternity

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Great thoughts, Julie. I think women especially struggle with worry. I jotted a note yesterday in my journal from the Francine Rivers book on Ruth that I am reading. In the book, Ruth decided that she would not allow her mind to dwell on things beyond her control. A good rule to live by.
